Jane has had the privilege to look after many cats, dogs and horses - not to mention the occasional sheep. Part of her interest in mastering kiln-formed glass was to find a way to commemorate her own pets when they passed away. She has developed a method of encapsulating a small amount of pet ashes into glass art, incorporating the ashes into landscape scenes, stylised portraits and abstract designs, creating eye-catching decorative glass tiles that can be mounted on walls or placed on display stands.
